Marine electricians install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment aboard ships. Ship electricians often work on electrical power supplies, wiring, communications, control systems, lighting, panels, pumps and motors, and fixtures. Marine electricians are also responsible for ship-to-shore electric connections and configurations.
