| Description | AMERI-FORCE IS LOOKING FOR ELECTRICAN FOREMEN.
The Electrical Foreman will set up and functionally test equipment control systems integrating into the ship’s electronic control and monitoring system (MPCMS/ ECS). Expectations include the calibrating and demonstrating the function of all safety, control and monitoring systems for all equipment. This position will trouble-shoot any arising problems and interface with Engineering and Vendors to resolve. Candidates will be expected to understand power generation with the ability to interface all controls of the SSDG’s with switchboards, load centers, and MPCMS to include demonstration of the power management systems. This position will be directly responsible to demonstrate functionally of Propulsion drive train automation systems and the interface with the MPCMS along with ultimate integration of such with the Ship wide controls and monitoring system, to include demonstrations to Customer and Regulatory Bodies. Qualified candidates are required to have a Bachelors degree in Engineering, OR associate degree with 4 years of trade experience and evidence of leadership skills OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of trade experience with evidence of leadership skills. The successful candidate will have good written and verbal communication skills. A familiarity with Microsoft office and good computer skills. Essential to this position is the ability to instruct assigned personnel on processes, policies, and procedures. Additonally, electronic and Electrical (power generation – 3 phase/450 – 4160VAC) Trade School Certificates or Military applicable schools, 10 years in Test Department, marine environment, instrumentation technical application and E-6 PG in applicable military discipline can wavier all or part of marine test department experience (if experience is applicable in military service). |
